Benefits for Interns
We are employing 3 interns for a period of 3 months. I understand that they will be entitled to annual leave and outpatient sick leave benefits if they have worked for at least 3 months. May I know if the interns will still be entitled to such benefits if their internship will not exceed 3 months?
Though we did not have intern with short term but they can take leave or sick leave under unpaid leave.
As we do not grant these benefits to employees under probationary period, similarly we do not provide the same to interns during the first 3 months attachment.
