Dear HR Practitioners,
I would like to know how do you handle the situation and what would you do with the Exit Clearance for the resignation staff if they do not agree to sign on the Clearance Agreement?
Normally exiting employee would not sign due to disagreement between the company and the item they have to be responsible for, their reason of refusing to sign will be taken note and be rectified as much as possible. If they refuse to sign simply because of refusing to sign, we will record and blacklist this particular employee in their record, for future reference.
Exit clearance/Final Settlement Letter would incorporate the payment of last salary. Thus, if an employee do not sign the Final Settlement letter (which includes his/her clearance), you should consider withholding last salary payment. For your consideration please.
