Help desk shift work
QUESTION
Dear HR Community Subscribers,
We are in the process of setting up a twenty-four-hour help desk to support our customers.
So, for the first time, our employees will now be required to work in shifts and become a part of the help desk support staff.
My questions are therefore related to the best practices in shift work like scheduling as well as incentives like allowances and rest days as this is the first time that we are doing this.
We are in the IT industry.
Thank you for your help in advance.
