Medical Reimbursement for Chiropractic Expenses

Dear HR Professionals,
Does your company reimburse expenses incurred by staff for Chiropractic Treatments ? Not a referral case by company's doctor.

No, employees are brief on the yearly amount and what sort of med consultation they can claim. We are a local SME.

No, this is not covered by our medical insurance.

All our employees are covered under outpatient medical expense by providing them with a medical card to visit the panel clinics.
Hence, any other consultation outside of the panel will not be reimbursed. Employees are free to check with our HR team whenever they require further clarification on this.

Yes our company do reimbursed medical expense with documentary evidence of receipts and on the grounds of emergency.
But then, such will have to go through some line management assessment and approval before it could be process by HR for onward submission to finance through management. This is however, mostly varies per organizational medical and reimbursement policies and discretion.

Expenses incurred by staff for chiropractic treatments are not covered under our medical scheme even though it’s a referral case by the Co’s doctor.
