Medical Reimbursement for Foreign Employee
Dear HR Professionals,
May I know your company practice pertaining to Medical Reimbursement to Foreign Employees (Outpatient)? Is the employer liable to pay the full cost or based on the company policy?
I assume you are talking about an Employment Pass holder. It is purely based on your company policy. However, if it is a work-related injury or illness you must pay in full according to the Act.
We provide medical insurance to all employees, local and foreign, for their outpatient GP, outpatient specialist and surgical/hospitalization needs.
