Dear HR Practitioners,
I have a staff who will be undergoing 4 months of training overseas. Besides salary and accommodation, may I know what other types of allowances do your company provide? Do you provide meals and personal allowance and how much should be given?
Would appreciate your sharing.

We do provide the following:
- Meal reimbursements, with a specific amount capped per day.
- Tele-communication reimbursements (eg. Sim Card).
- Transportation reimbursements (e.g. from accommodation to office x 2 daily).
We do it on reimbursement basis, not allowance basis.
Our company provides travel allowance of S$55/- per day to Asia countries and S$70/- per day other than Asia countries. In addition, hotel accommodation is under company account. All others expenses are on personal account.
