Overseas Meal Claim for Senior Managers
QUESTION
Dear HR Practitioners,
I would like to find out, especially those in the Real Estate industry, what is your meal claim policy for Senior Managers & above when they travel overseas for business purposes. Besides entertainment expenses (like meals with clients), does your Company allow them to claim per diem or reimbursement to cover their own meal expenses; or none at all? Would appreciate if anyone can share their policy/practice/rates with me.
Thank you.

We will accord per diem allowance. The rate is in accordance from IRAS.

For Senior Managers, we allow them to claim actual for meals, subject to a limit by location, for example China will be capped at S$40 per meal.

We actually pay per diem daily according to a standard guide table for different countries.
