Probationary Employment Termination

Dear all,
How many days notice period is required for termination under probation if nothing is mentioned in the contract letter?

If the contract is silent and the employee is covered under the Employment Act, the notice period is minimum 1 day.

If you and your employer did not previously agree on a notice period, the following applies:
Length of service - Notice period
Less than 26 weeks - 1 day
26 weeks to less than 2 years - 1 week
2 years to less than 5 years - 2 weeks
5 years and above - 4 weeks
