Dear all HR Practitioners,
Would like to know if your companies offer sign-on bonus for some critical positions or niche skills set positions. If you do, could you share briefly the quantum and the terms for this sign-on bonus for new hires.
To have sign on bonus or so-called joining bonus for newly hired employee, it is advisable to specific a contract period of employment & other simple terms & conditions i.e. 1 Year
Also, to state the penalty should one fail or unable to fulfill the employment terms.
The amount is subject to management decision which can go up to $5,000/- depending on the designation & job tasks requirements.
