QUESTION Dear HR professionals, What is the general practice in Singapore to offer money to grieving family members on the death of an employee? P.S Employee died outside of work. As the deceased will be covered by the company’s Group term life/personal accident insurance coverage, the respective sum insured amount will be paid out to the deceased’s family.
