QUESTION Hi HR Professionals, Do you give your staff childcare or extended childcare based on the child birthday? Example, staff youngest child turning 7 or 13 years old after the start of the new year, do you still give the staff 6 days for the coming 7 years old and 2 days for the coming 13 years old? Sharon     REPLY 2 We standardize everyone to using it via calendar year from the first year of birth and we do the declarations on the GPL portal. For the final year(s), this depends on what has been on record with the government submissions. This minimizes your tracking error even if the employee has joined from elsewhere and the previous company does not do regular submissions.
