Dear HR Practitioners,
I would like to know if your companies practise giving time-off to staff. Our company does have some leeway to allow time-off to settle personal matters/child falls sick and needs to see doctor. May I know what is the duration given considered a time-off? What about employees' sending own car for inspection but only informed office only after past starting work hour?
I appreciate your advice. Thank you.
1. Our Company gives time off of maximum 2 hours to staff who are not eligible to Overtime allowance. Eligible staff are also discouraged to consume time off before or after lunch hour as the off duration will become 3 hours (we do give exceptions).
