Workers Locked down in Malaysia
QUESTION
Dear HR Practitioners,
For those with workers locked down in Malaysia, may I ask if your company is keeping their WP active until the border opens or have plans to cancel the WP if the closure is prolonged for another month or two.
Thank you!
Rebecca
REPLY
We called MOM and was advised to cancel.
Even for those workpasses that is due for renewal, if they are not physically in Singapore, MOM advised to cancel.
